GENERAL Motors India has won the second prize in the Automobile Manufacturing Sector at the National Energy Conservation Awards 2008 for energy conservation at its Halol facility in Gujarat. The Award was conferred by the Union Minister for Power, Mr. Sushil Kumar Shinde at a function in New Delhi.
